Bihar board 12th result: Girls outshine boys 

Girls have outperformed boys in the Bihar Intermediate Science ISC class 12th results declared late on Tuesday. Almost three and a half lakh students had appeared in the 2012 examination.

Releasing the results here on Tuesday, Principal secretary (education department) Anjani Kumar Singh informed that the three toppers of the state hail from Begusarai and two of them happen to be siblings.

According to the data released by the BSEB, a total of 3,43,898 students appeared in the examination out of which, 51.23 percent students secured first division. 

Singh said 91.36 percent of the girl students passed the examination this year, recording an increase of 1 percent as compared to the results declared last year. 

The three toppers from the Begusarai district bagged over 90 percent marks in aggregate. Piyush Kumar (92 percent), Ram Prawesh Kumar (90.6 percent) and Illa Kumari (90.4 percent) topped the merit list from the MRJDI College, Bisnupur, Begusarai. Piyush and Illa are siblings. 

Only five students from the state capital figure in the merit list released by the BSEB.

According to reports, the number of students taking the examination also registered a marked increase in comparison to last year.

Patna: Results for the Bihar Intermediate Science ISC class 12th for the year 2012 were declared late on Tuesday, June 5. The students can get their results online at http://www.biharboard.net. This year, almost three and a half lakh students had appeared for the examinations.
In case the site is down, candidates can log on to http://results.bihareducation.net/ to get their results too.
The Bihar Intermediate science ISC intermediate examinations was conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board. The Board conducts the examinations in all the three streams of arts, science and commerce. The declaration of the results will allow the students to apply for admission for graduate courses in colleges.

बिहार बोर्ड में पहले तीन स्थानों पर लड़कियों का कब्जा

पटना। बिहार विद्यालय परीक्षा समिति ने मंगलवार को दसवीं परीक्षा के परिणाम घोषित कर दिये। मैट्रिक में 71.03 प्रतिशत परीक्षार्थियों ने सफलता हासिल की है। पहले तीन स्थानों पर छात्राओं का कब्जा रहा।

मैट्रिक का रिजल्ट जारी करते हुए मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्री पीके शाही ने कहा कि इस वर्ष मैट्रिक की परीक्षा में 690282 छात्र एवं 561787 छात्राएं शामिल हुए थे, जिसमें से 17.59 प्रतिशत प्रथम श्रेणी, 37.06 प्रतिशत द्वितीय श्रेणी 16.36 प्रतिशत परीक्षार्थियों ने तृतीय श्रेणी से सफलता हासिल की है। 9935 परीक्षार्थी अनुपस्थित रहे एवं कदाचार के आरोप में 1703 परीक्षार्थियों को निष्कासित कर दिया गया।

मैट्रिक परीक्षा 2012 में धर्नुधारी सर्वोदय हाई स्कूल, मोरियावां, पटना की छात्रा नव्या यादव ने प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया है। उसे 93 प्रतिशत यानी 465 अंक प्राप्त हुआ है। जबकि डा.एनसीएस ग‌र्ल्स हाईस्कूल, आरा की छात्रा की प्रीति सोनी को दूसरा स्थान प्राप्त हुआ है। उसे 92.80 प्रतिशत यानी 464 अंक हासिल हुआ है। परीक्षा में कुल 1252069 परीक्षार्थी शामिल हुए, जिसमें से 889358 परीक्षार्थियों ने सफलता प्राप्त की
